BLCK VC Charts

Founded in 2017, BLCK VC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization built by Black venture investors with the mission to increase Black representation within venture capital, both now and for future generations. The organization offers educational programs, fosters an active community, and operates national chapters to provide Black investors with the tools and networks necessary to advance their careers. Charts and graphs are used throughout to illustrate the significant impact of BLCK VC’s investments and its efforts to close the racial funding gap. These visuals highlight data that demonstrate the growing presence of Black investors in the venture capital space, showing how increased diversity benefits the entire ecosystem. BLCK VC is committed to transforming the venture capital industry by promoting diversity and inclusion. As the professional organization of Black investors in the U.S., BLCK VC mobilizes key influencers and drives meaningful change across the VC landscape. With active chapters in cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., the organization engages deeply with regional investors and startup ecosystems. Through strategic partnerships with leading venture firms and mission-aligned non-profit organizations, BLCK VC continues to lead the way in empowering Black investors and shaping the future of venture capital.
